Andrew Cromarty
Andrew, a part-time Anglican priest and home parent, has lived in Weardale for six years and grown food on a local allotment for three. He has long-held interests in supporting rural communities and is involved in the Durham Diocesan Rural Task Group. His background includes teaching biology up to A level, and nearly 10 years with an international mission and development agency, working across East Anglia, with extensive experience of working with volunteer groups and of project instigation and management, along with extended overseas visits. He is committed to promoting community development and social inclusion.
Louise Taylor, Company Secretary runs her own business as a freelance documentary photographer and community artist working on both self led and community led projects. She has considerable experience of running and managing participatory sessions and engaging with communities. Louise is also a founding member of Wideyed - a NorthEast based photographers collective.
Tony Devos is the current Programme Manager of the Mineral Valleys Project an environment-led landscape-scale partnership project in West Durham. He is employed by Natural England. Prior to this he delivered the Community involvement and Communication work on the Mineral Valleys Project. He has also worked on urban regeneration SRB projects in Finsbury Park and for the Department of Environment Transport and Regions in their Environmental Protection marketing team. He has a degree in Ecological Economics from Stirling University.

Julia Knight, Treasurer is a University lecturer/researcher. She has extensive experience managing projects and budgets, writing funding applications, and doing promotion and admin.
Victoria Routledge
is experienced in budget management, public relations, promotion and
administration. She currently promotes local food schemes voluntarily
with schools and community projects that she has founded in Wolsingham
and was awarded a Community Champion Grant from the Scarman Trust in
2007 to help develop the early stages of this project.
Cadria Hibbert is a qualified accountant (ACCA), currently working in Newcastle as the Financial Controller of International Business for Nigel Wright.
Liz Charles is a PhD student at Newcastle University undertaking an action research programme on CSA. Her professional background is community development and she has experience of working in both the voluntary and statutory sectors. She also works part-time and is employed by the Local Authority and currently seconded to the Rural Community Council.
